If you used an email address instead, use that. Either works. One important thing: Spree support will never ask for your current password over chat, email, or phone. If anyone claiming to be from Spree asks for your login credentials, that's a scam — report it to our support team immediately. Always reset your password through the official login page only.
If you've lost access to the mobile number linked to your account, contact Spree support directly. They'll guide you through an identity verification process to confirm account ownership before helping you update your contact details. Keep your registered number active and your email address current to avoid this situation.
Spree's security system will temporarily lock an account after a certain number of failed login attempts in a short period. This is a standard protection against unauthorised access attempts. If your account gets locked, wait a few minutes and try again, or use the password reset option. If the issue persists, reach out to support through the live chat in the app or by emailing [email protected].
Accounts can also be temporarily suspended if unusual activity is detected — for example, login attempts from multiple IP addresses in a short window, or a flag raised during payment verification. Once you're inside your account, there are a few habits worth building. First, enable two-factor authentication (2FA) from your account settings if you haven't already. This adds a second verification step every time someone tries to log in, making it much harder for anyone other than you to access your account even if they somehow got hold of your password.
Second, set a strong and unique password for Spree — one you don't use on other apps or websites. Avoid using your name, date of birth, or common sequences. A mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols is ideal. Update your password every few months as good practice.
